The Social Enterprise Awards Scotland are back for 2024, celebrating the incredible work and impact of social enterprises across the country.

The Social Enterprise Awards Scotland are an opportunity to showcase the very best of the sector, highlighting the vital role social enterprises have in supporting communities, building places and making a positive impact on our environmental and wellbeing.

There are nine categories to enter this year reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of the sector. These are:

  • Environmental Social Enterprise
  • Building Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice
  • Health and Social Care
  • Tech for Good
  • ‘Buy Social’ – Market Bulider
  • Social Enterprise Employee Champion
  • Social Enterprise Volunteer Champion

We are looking forward to celebrating the innovation and impact of Scotland’s social enterprises this autumn at our in-person Social Enterprise Awards ceremony. Make sure to mark these key dates in your calendar, including the deadline for submitting your awards application:

  • Tuesday 21 May – Applications open
  • Monday 8 July – Applications close at 10am!
  • Monday 29 July – You’ll be notified about your application and the 2024 shortlist will be announced this week.
  • Thursday 7 November – the winners will be announced at a ceremony in the Scottish Parliament hosted by Paul Sweeney MSP for Glasgow (Region)
